Baker Street is located within the Marylebone district of the City of Westminster London.
Its name originated from William Baker, the builder who initially laid the street during the later part of the 18th century.
Some may recognise the name Baker Street due to the renowned fictional detective Sherlock Holmes, who lived at house 221B (or would have had it existed at the time).
Although the area was initially high class residential, its now mainly occupied by commercial premises.
Baker street was home to the first ever wax museum of Madame Tussauds in 1835, however in 1884 the museum was moved just a short distance away to Marylebone Road and is now just a four minute walk away from our office at 124 Baker Street, the same amount of time it takes to walk to the Sherlock Holmes Museum which is also located just round the corner from our Reflex office.
Although the surrounding area is full of spots for indoor activities, the office is also only a short walk from one of Londons most stunning open spaces Regents Park.
As well as great attractions and plenty to see of the big outdoors, Baker Street is very popular for its tasty restaurants, including Bright Courtyard Club, Galvin Bistrot de Luxe (Featured in TripAdvisors top 300 places to eat in London) and of course the outstanding Sherlocks Bar and Grill.
Our new Baker Street office is set over three floors which include secondary glazing, high ceilings and air conditioning ready for those summer days.
The office is located a short distance (less than 200 meters) away from Baker Street underground station or, if youd prefer, a 7 minute walk to Marylebone station.
